Very interesting! Thank you for all of your hard work and research hours involved. My son documented a B-17 crash site in France .

One of my uncles was the navigator on a B-17 named "Sweet Seventeen". He made it through the war with no injuries. After listening to some of the things he told me, I developed a love of history and went to Europe 7 times to visit historic locations. I thank you for your research so that this part of history won't be lost forever.

What an interesting site that is so important for history. I am a history teacher in the US with a passion for WW2 artifacts, photographs and the research that can be done. I just recently was given a Purple Heart medal for an 8th AF radioman that was killed on a raid over a different German city in September ‘44.

Thanks for all your work to pull this information together. I am the grandson of an RAF pilot, and I live in Köln - so this page is absolutely fascinating for me. Many thanks.
